The Summer Village of Rochon Sands administers both Rochon Sands Provincial Park and The Narrows Provincial Recreation Area which are located on the south shores of Buffalo Lake. Both campgrounds are managed on-site by campsite managers and are monitored for the safety and enjoyment of our guests.
The Narrows Provincial Recreation Area is a beautiful provincial park that suits bird watchers, anglers, and nature lovers. It is one of the older provincial parks and many of its sites are suitable for tenting and small to mid-sized trailers. There are only a small handful of sites that will accommodate larger sized trailers (32'+).
The Narrows has 59 individual sites and 1 group site, all which are UNSERVICED. Pit toilets, a hand pump for non-potable water, and dumpsters are available, but there is no sani-dump station. The sites are all First-Come-First-Serve and self-registration only. Please have cash or cheque for the envelopes or you can now pay via OptionPay. Under "Type" please choose "Narrows PRA Camping Fees..." and fill in all of the required information.
The campground is open to camp from the May long-weekend to Thanksgiving (weather dependent-on the closure date).
