The Summer Village of Rochon Sands receives fire and rescue services through a regional fire services agreement with the County of Stettler No. 6 (Heartland Regional Fire).
How the system works (in plain language)
✅ If the Fire Department responds, the Summer Village is invoiced for the response.
✅ Under the Summer Village Fire Protection Bylaw (Bylaw 277-26), the municipality may then recover applicable fire protection charges from the landowner/occupant or responsible party, depending on the circumstances.
