​Campgrounds & Provincial Parks

​The Summer Village operates and manages provincial park and recreation areas under agreement with the Province of Alberta, providing camping and day-use opportunities for visitors throughout the season.
The Rochon Sands Provincial Park and the Narrows Provincial Recreation Area are located on the south shores of Buffalo Lake.  The campgrounds are open from May to Thanksgiving (weather dependent on the closure date).

​Day-use areas and recreation spaces are available for residents and visitors to enjoy Buffalo Lake and surrounding amenities.

​Park use is subject to provincial regulations and municipal requirements to ensure public safety, environmental protection, and enjoyment for all users.
