The Summer Village of Rochon Sands is now accepting online invoice payments with select credit cards through the secure OptionPay System (with applicable third party fees).  Payments for certain services may be paid by credit card online now in addition to the previously offered option to pay directly through internet banking. Some services must be paid in person at the Municipal Office at the Summer Village of Rochon Sands as the invoice may need to be customized to your unique needs for service.

Services Currently Offered on OptionPay

Property Tax Payments

• You will be asked for your ROLL NUMBER when entering payment information for your property taxes. This can be found on your tax notice. Please add digits to your roll number to make it a 4 digit number.  If you have a roll number of 4 (example), please put in 0004 as your roll number.  If you have a roll number of 124 (example), please put in 0124 as your roll number. If you have questions about your property tax notice, please email [email protected] or call 403.742.4717.

Permit Fee:
(Docks Application Processing Fee, Development Permit Application Fee, Development Permit Deposit, Recreational Vehicle parking Fee (Per Unit on parcels with no approved Dwelling Unit), Subdivision Development Fee, Subdivision Development Fee Per Lot Fee, Subdivision Development Appeal Fee (refundable if appeal is in favour of applicant))

• ​​​In order to make a payment for the above permit fees, you are required to put in your name, invoice number, and permit type.  If you have questions about your permit fee(s), please email [email protected] or call 403.742.4717.
• If you are paying a Development Permit Deposit with OptionPay, please be aware that you will NOT be refunded the "Load Fee charged by OptionPay is charged in addition to your payment" when you pay with a credit or debit Visa/Mastercard card.

Tax Certificates:

What is OptionPay?

• OptionPay is a payment card system the Summer Village of White Sands uses for its online credit card transactions. You can find out more information about OptionPay by visiting their website here.  

Is there an added fee for using OptionPay to pay my Summer Village bills with my credit card?

• Yes. All transactions carried out through OptionPay follow a tiered fee schedule, starting at a minimum fee of $2.00.  To see the full fee schedule for using this payment option, please visit their fee schedule here. ​

Why is there an added fee to pay with a credit card?

• ​The fees are administered through the OptionPay program for the use of their service and not through the Summer Village of Rochon Sands.
