What Can Be Reported
Residents and visitors may report issues related to municipal services, infrastructure, and public spaces, including:
- Road conditions or signage concerns
- Street lighting issues
- Waste or recycling concerns in public areas
- Parks, playgrounds, or community facility maintenance
- Public safety concerns related to municipal property
- Bylaw-related concerns within municipal jurisdiction
Issues That Should Be Directed Elsewhere
- Emergency situations requiring immediate response (call 911)
- Power outages or utility service issues
- Provincial highways or Alberta Transportation concerns
- Private property disputes between residents
These matters fall outside municipal jurisdiction and cannot be addressed by the Summer Village.
How to Report an Issue
Municipal issues can be reported by contacting the Summer Village municipal office. When reporting an issue, please include as much detail as possible, such as the location, nature of the concern, and any relevant timing or safety considerations.
Service requests are reviewed during regular business hours and directed internally to the appropriate individual for a response.
After-Hours or Urgent Concerns
For emergencies or situations that pose an immediate risk to public safety, contact emergency services by calling 911.
Non-emergency issues reported outside of regular office hours will be addressed during the next business day, as appropriate.
