​Strategic Plan

​The Strategic Plan sets Council’s priorities and long-term direction for the Summer Village of Rochon Sands. It guides decision-making, budgeting, and municipal initiatives to ensure the community remains sustainable, responsive, and well-managed.

​Strategic Plan 2026–2029

​The 2026–2029 Strategic Plan establishes Council’s vision and priorities for the current term. The plan reflects what residents value most — protecting the lake and environment, maintaining community character, ensuring responsible financial management, and supporting a strong, connected community.
The Strategic Plan is used by Council and Administration to:
  • Set annual goals and priorities
  • Guide budget decisions
  • Align municipal projects and policies
  • Measure progress and accountability over the four-year term

​Resident Engagement — 2025 Strategic Planning Survey

​As part of the strategic planning process, Council invited residents to participate in the 2025 “Your Voice, Our Future” Community Survey. Resident feedback played a critical role in shaping the Strategic Plan and identifying key priorities for the coming years.
Survey input helped Council better understand:
  • Community values and concerns
  • Service priorities
  • Infrastructure and environmental expectations
  • Long-term sustainability goals
